I just came here to ask that. LOL We had the same problem at smutswap.

Try editing your story, and delete the collection. (Leave the challenge assignment above the collection box as is.) Then save.

Since the assignment box is still checked, your work will automatically be put back into the collection, but it won't be anonymous anymore.

*facepalm* I totally forgot that. Glad you figured out a workaround though. :)

Sorry about that; AO3 bugs strike again, I think! I see you've fixed it now :)
